In a world submerged in isolation, mistrust, and destruction, Joy Bomb is an experiment in communal resilience. It is the place for us to give form to new ways of living together based in mutual aid, offering what you have and being nourished by what others have to give. No elites, no gatekeepers—just us, building power where we live. Through a collective labor of love, we aim to keep each other safe, sustain our future, and create joy together.
NWI No Child Hungry
NWI No Child Hungry was created to help local students who are food-insecure. Food-insecurity means children (and adults) may not have a reliable source to a sufficient amount of nutritious food. In our area, many students rely on the food they receive during the school week to sustain them through the weekend.
At NWI No Child Hungry, we work to provide a more stable solution for each child in our area. We provide Buddy Bags, which help offset hunger during weekends and extended breaks. These bags are funded by our wonderful sponsors and donors.

We believe that no young person deserves to be homeless; that every young person in Illinois deserves shelter, food, clothing, education and most importantly, opportunity.
CHIL provides a safe harbor and full continuum of wraparound supportive services to Chicago's most vulnerable populations. Our programs and services meet the physical, emotional, educational and the well-being of young people, as they build their path to independence.
